The Cape 2010

Found a few photos this morning from our trip to Cape Cod this past summer. Just needing a creative break from my beautiful families and springs shoots to reminisce a little about our exquisite vacation with Rickie, Thomas, Fiona and my precious and perfect godson, Teddy.

One of my ALL time favorite families! I've had the privilege of photographing this family twice now. I NEVER know what shots I'm going to come home with! The shoots are a whirlwind of activity, laughter, mischief and rough and tumble love and affection.  Always a great time and a great shoot!

And then, the precious girls in my life, Sydney and Elle. This beautiful photograph will hang 6x9 FEET on a canvas in an inset in their lovely home! Wouldn't this be a wonderful moment to enjoy each day? Can't wait to see it!

YEEEE! The Waugh Boys! My Other favorite all boy shoot! And again, the privilege of a second shoot with these wild, brilliant, handsome and talented boys! 

Future rocker, moviestar and writer perhaps? Who can tell!

    Mom and Dad... got to have a beer with them at Gueros after this shoot. What a fun family, and wow, I love my job!

My sweet Baby Katie doll! I accosted this poor woman in Ann Taylor and basically begged her to let me photograph this sweet baby! Now you can all see why! I have done two shoots with them now, and hope for a third as they are expecting a second child any day. So glad my stalker instincts kicked it!

A Happy Jake Sandwich! There are some parents that really get stressed out before and during a shoot. These are NOT those parents. They are as relaxed and calm as one would ever want to be. Their main goal? Loving this precious child... and loving each other. Not a single other worry. : )

AH, a loving Mother and her three perfect BOYS!

And THIS is why this was one of my all time favorite shoots! I had NO idea what I had captured until I got home. It was a total blur of swinging, soccer balls, swimming pools, tickling and wrestling. It was WONDERFUL! And it made me realize that although it can be VERY tiresome and frustrating, there is no greater excitement and energy that what comes from a BOY!

A truly beautiful family,  inside and out.  And not a prettier day or spot to be had in Austin, Texas.

Is anything more precious that this family? I adore them all! They are truly joyful!

One of my very favorite families! I've had the privilege of photographing this family 3 times! Their boys are SO big now, I can't even believe it.  I've also had the honor of photographing the very large extended family which I desperately tried to claim as my own. You gotta love a family that serves you wine while you're shooting them!
